HORSES FOR THE OCTOBER 13, 2007 ADOPTION
Warm Springs Correctional Center, Carson City, Nevada

Here are the horses in training for the October 2007 Adoption:

Horse:
Pinenut
Trainer: Quintero
4 Year Old
Sorrel
14.1 Hands
HMA: Diamond Hills (Eureka, NV)
 
This colt is well started and is riding well.  He stops and backs up.  Feet can be trimmed and he trailer loads.  His a  very smooth traveler.  

 

Horse:
Washita
Trainer: Acox
4 Year Old
Sorrel with a star and 2 hind pasterns
14.2 Hands
HMA: Eureka 7 Mile
 
Even though Washita is only 14.2, he is a deep bodied colt with a good mind.  Great for us Baby Boomers who may be having difficulty getting up on those taller horses, or "vertically challenged" people of any age! He travels nicely and handles well.  He has been roped off.

This handsome colt is handling well, has been trimmed and trailer loads nicely.

About 1200 lbs

This big stout colt is 15.2 H and weighs in at about 1200 lbs.  He is gentling well and handles nicely.  He has been trimmed and trailer loads.

This big bay stands 15 Hands and handles well.  He turn quickly and stops and backs nicely.  He has been trimmed and trailer loads.

HMA: Seven Mile
 
This young gelding stands about 14.2 but is well balanced and very athletic.  He handles well and has been loaded and trimmed.

Sorrel with RH stocking, LH Pastern, Star Strip snit connected, Flaxen Mane and Tail

This horse handles well. Trailer loads and is good about having his feet handled.

Sorrel Gelding, star strip, 2 hind sox

This sorrel, with flaxen main and tail stands about 14.2 and is VERY stout.  He is reining well and is a smooth traveler.  He has been trimmed and trailer loads.

A nice stout roan that's very athletic and handles well.  He's been trimmed and trailer loads.

This is a nice stout horse with a great attitude.  He is willing and has a nice athletic ability.  At one month when the pictures were taken, he was already neck reining and making nice turns.

This red roan gelding is riding well and is a nice size.  He is a good mover and can be trimmed.

This horse is becoming more solid daily.  He has been trimmed, trailer loads and has a lot of energy.

This handsome horse is super athletic and is learning to trust.  He stands about 15 Hands and is a good traveler.

Is coming along nicely with his training.  Good with his feet.
